This project was featured in Modern Steel Construction (February 2016). The Tower at PNC Plaza consists of 8,000 tons of steel and we were responsible for detailing 3,300 tons and 8,400 shop and erection drawings. We detailed floors 17 through 34 of the 36 story high-rise. The Tower at PNC Plaza has a cross wide flange X brace core system. This project had a challenging sloped diamond- shaped roof structure that added to the complexity of the project.
